Before beginning work on the screenplay of Muththirai Anees studied Jeeva’s scripts from 12B to Dhaam Dhoom. She assures that Muththirai will be an enjoyable cocktail of action, thrill, romance and comedy.

“Lakshmi Rai plays a simple girl who turns glossy. And we have Rakhi Sawant in an item number. I’m not sure Jeeva would have gone for it, but my story needed it,” she laughs. Manjari Phadnis of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na is the other heroine, and she teams up with Nitin Sathya. Anees adds that Srinath is the director of the film, yet as creative director she has shouldered a great deal of responsibility.

She is very happy with her choice of Salim, the cinematographer, and Yuvan, the composer.

“Vision Jeeva Studios has three partners, all women — my sister Ayesha, friend Mathangi, and I.”

Anees has now met Salman Khan, and quite impressed with her new story he has asked her to work on the script. “We plan to make worthy projects of which Muththirai is the first,” she signs off.
