Deva Katta Started his second film Prasthanam with Sharwanand today. The film is produced by Ravi Vallabhaneni who produced Deva and Sharwanand's Vennela before.

M.R.V. Prasad clapped the first shot, Dasarth Rama Rao switched on the camera. Sharwanand, Saikumar, Vennela Kishore, Sandeep Kishan plays the key roles. Debutent herione Ruby plays opposite Sharwanand in the film.

Speaking on the occassion Deva informs that the film is good human drama and raise and fall of the person were discussed in a different way. Saikumar has a important role in the film, the hero role is not a routine one but a has different shades says the director. The song will be shot in night effect from today and from 16 talkie part will start. The first schedule will finish by July 31st. Second schedule will be from Aug 16 to Aug 31st. Major part of the film will be shot in Hyderabad, Vijaywada, Badami (Karnatka). The film is slated for Dasara release.

Sharwanand "I got a good break with Vennela and Deva garu came up with a good script again which will definetly be an another good film for me".

Sandeep kishan said this is his second film and his first film Snehageetam is getting ready to release in the next month, and thanked Deva that he gave a good character in the film.

The film music is by Mahesh Shankar and Savita sigh of Pookh fame handles the camera. Rajeevi nair handles the art department.
